Frequently Asked Questions
Is Kindermusik offered year round? Yes. Kindermusik classes follow the academic school year from September to May (two, 15-week semesters) Summer session meets for 10 classes.
Can both parents attend class with the child? We request that only one adult attend class with each registered child. Please refer to Kindermusik calendar for visitors? day.
May I bring siblings to class? While we understand the occasional need to bring siblings to class, we ask that you make child-care arrangements for children not enrolled in Kindermusik.
What happens if my child is ill? In consideration of other children, please arrange for a make-up class if your child is ill.
What happens if I miss a class? Please call the studio to schedule a make-up class. Any missed classes must be addressed during the current semester, and, while we will do our best to accommodate your needs, make-up classes are not guaranteed.
Do you close when it snows? Classes are held as scheduled except during a level 3 snow emergency. We encourage you to make the decision to attend class or not based on your family's particular circumstances and comfort level with ice and snow.
Is food permitted in the studio? No. Please provide a snack for your child at home, as food and drink are not allowed in the Studio.
May we celebrate birthdays at Kindermusik?: Yes. If you would like, please bring stickers, etc. rather than food. This eliminates any disappointment for children with food allergies.
What is your cell phone policy: Out of courtesy to your fellow classmates please turn your cell phone off during Kindermusik. If circumstances require you to be available, set ring mode to vibrate. We request that all calls be taken outside the classroom.
